Controversial methods used to increase the efficiency of conventional food production have made us all more sensitive in choosing our foods. Now, instead of buying industrial products from the market shelves, we want to obtain our food from the local producers. We prefer to buy healthy products that we can trace from farm to table directly from the producer. Based on our past 30 years of experience in the field of health food production, we are happy to share with you the products we produce in our farm in beautiful Datça.
The historic Doris Peninsula, where Datça is situated, driven 100 kilometers in to the heart of the sea, like a sword, divides the Agean from the Mediterranean.Therefore the climate provides a very unique flora with many endemic species which is unique to this region.
Datça, which gives life to 36 different types of endemic almonds; is known as the most important region in almond production in terms of taste & quality. The most important of these species is the geographically marked Nurlu Almond, which can only be grown in certain regions of Datça. Nurlu Almond is so rare that, it can only be found in certain regions of Datça.
As Kocamaar family, it is our most important mission to add value to the almonds of Datça and cater to the demands of the highest almond connesseur with different forms and tastes. Besides Nurlu and Akbadem types through the year; in March, a limited amount of unripe almonds; ,in July, we send fresh almonds from our farm to your door with one click. We intend to conquer your hearts with beautiful products that will carry the taste and health of almonds to different areas of your life, such as almond milk, which we produce locally for the first time in Turkey, almond flour and almond butter.
In addition to almonds, it is our mission to add value to dozens of local products from Datça, such as local tomatoes, strawberries, figs, as well as special products such as perfumed Rosa Damascena and lavenders from Isparta, which have been forgotten or fallen into the clutches of industrial production in geographies close to our region. We believe that local flavors can be preserved with the development of non-conventional initiatives like ours, and we wish conscious farmers and entrepreneurs from all over Turkey to take this trend further..
Our main principle is a production away from all kinds of additives, such as artificial flavors, coloring and preservatives. Instead of using preservatives to extend the shelf life of our products; we make use of traditional methods such as pasteurization, pickling, drying and so on. Our production technique, which takes its basis from the traditional, but formulates it with scientific methods, enables us to maintain a certain standard. As a farm that aims to highlight the local and forgotten flavors. We strongly oppose the use of artificial flavors. We guarantee that the content of every product you buy from us consists of natural ingredients.
All of our products produced in our farm are gluten-free and lactose-free. Again, all of our products are vegetarian. All of our products are vegan, except for honey, products containing honey and tarhana soup.
All the products we produce in our plant are produced using gluten-free raw materials. Our products containing or likely to contain gluten, such as heirloom products, are packaged on our behalf and stored in separate sections in our facility in order to prevent possible contamination.
In this way, our products are also suitable for our consumers who are gluten and/or lactose intolerant. On the other hand, all of our products are suitable for vegetarian nutrition, and all of our products are also suitable for vegans, except for honey, products containing honey and tarhana soups.
The vast majority of our product portfolio is free from refined sugar. For those who love sweet tastes, but have quit or are trying to reduce refined sugar; our products such as jams, carob products, honey, almond butter are healthy alternatives to sweets, deriving their flavor from fruit-based natural sources, not from refined sugar.
In recent years, almond milk has become an important alternative to cow's milk all over the world, especially for people with various nutritional allergies and those who follow popular nutritional trends. As almond milk is also naturally low in fat and low in calories; It is consumed all over the world by the masses who are fighting against overweight and obesity or simply wanting to eat healthier. It can be used as a beverage itself, as well as different recipes such as vegan yogurt, butter etc. can be made from almond milk, for people with lactose intolerance and vegans.
Since the first days we established our farm, we have been working to deliver fresh almond milk to you in its purest form. During the first 3 years, we produced Turkey's first and only additive-free, pasteurized almond milk and distributed it all over Turkey. However, the extended shipping times during the pandemic period prevented us from delivering this product, which has a short lifespan and required cold chain. We imagined an alternative product, we wanted it to be additive-free, practical, long-lasting and easily shipped. And of course, we wanted it not to produce as much waste as almond milk does, but to be recycled. At the end of this process, Almond Milk Concentrate, the first and only example of its kind, emerged. Almond Milk Concentrate is an innovative product that allows you to easily make additive-free and healthy almond milk at home.
Almond flour is a delicious alternative to conventional flour. As it is naturally gluten-free; people sensitive to gluten or have celiac disease can consume almond flour and pastries made from it with peace of mind. We are proud to be producing fragrant “Almond Flour” for you from the delicious almonds of Datça, the almond store of our beautiful country.
When we set out to establish the Kocamaar farm, we aimed to produce unique and high quality products that we would like to eat ourselves. As we have had 30 years of experience in the health food sector, it is our passion to produce only using clean and valuable ingredients by applying the highest quality standards, following certain principles.
To ensure that our understanding and production philosophy is throughly is applied and practiced; we aim to make it standard and auditable with quality system management and food safety certificates that are valid globally. ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2005 are globally valid systems for quality, traceability and product safety. They are certified and regularly audited by independent accredited institutions.
The care of the almond and olive trees in our garden is carried out according to the principles of good agriculture practices. And they are certified every year according to the yield level. In addition to these, our business is also certified for "organic product" processing. Certificates are of course important; however, we are aware that they are not very meaningful unless they integrate with the philosophy of the manufacturer. As the Kocamaar family, we have adopted the philosophy of providing the best we can in line with the certificate conditions and beyond that, regardless of the certificates, we guarantee the best. This is the reason why we are here.

Among those collaborations, heirloom seeds are very important for us. As they are the seeds coming from our ancestors, they are of vital importance for the health of both our soil and our people. Heirloom seeds, which are strong seeds that have survived to the present day by adapting to changing conditions for thousands of years, are genetic treasures in terms of the sustainability of life. They are 12.000 years old seeds rooted in Anatolia, the homeland of agriculture.
The dominance of one-time seeds brought the ancestral seeds to the point of extinction. However auto-immune diseases, allergies, intolerances that are seen widely in recent years; makes us realize the direct effect of nutrition with hybrid seeds on our health and the most basic solution to cope with this diseases is through dietary and lifestyle changes. The need for a clean diet with the ingredients obtained from the native seeds of each soil, increasing the interest in heirloom seeds. And that is how, many species that we have never heard of, came back to life. Local agriculture and heirloom seeds will be protected, developed and multiplied and continue to come to your table as we, the producers, cooperate.
